I’m a fan of beef protein, I know Connor was talking about the why’s and wherefore’s about the difference between collagen/whey. He’s the man for technical stuff. I’m just purely here for the taste.
So I saw this new product and remembered my summer spent in France, the heat, the cool shaded cafe in the small village centre of a beautiful medieval village in the Limoges region of France. Whilst cold beer was the preference, the second drink of choice was jus d’ananas or pineapple juice. Small glass bottles of sweet nostalgia. I decided, maybe unwisely to try the pineapple beef protein.
Donna got me a sample, we used water out of the tap….this was never going to help, but, as I said to Donna, if it’s ok like this, I’ll take a pot. It was ok like that and I bought a pot. I knew if it was ok with water straight out of the tap, my cold filtered Samsung water dispenser was going to make this shake much better, boy did it.
So the pineapple version is not small glass bottles of French memories, but it takes me there…I’d go so far as to say I love it and if Connor stocks it, it’s my new choice.
I've used whey protein for years! About a year ago normal "milkshake" protein shakes started giving a bad stomach. So I transitioned to BEEF XP and I haven't looked back since. Some of the flavours are a bit debatable but you can't go wrong with any of the "millions" range. They taste amazing! Low in KCAL's and high in protein. If you don't believe me go and get yourself a sample!
Got as a free sample and as all beef xp mixes really well, flavour wise I can’t really say it’s strong but it’s more passion fruit flavour forward but still easy to drink
Well, ultimately it isn’t in taste, but in terms of impact it still packs on the stacks. Mixes really well, tastes good. I prefer a juice style drink and this is an alternative to clear whey. I would highly recommend, its price point is spot on, easy to transfer around with just a mixer, easier in my option to drink than normal whey. Millions cola all the way
